Monaco: introduction of the annual declaration for civil partnerships (SCP)

Since law no. 1.550 of 10 August 2023*, any civil partnership registered in the Special Register of Civil Partnerships must confirm each year, in the month following the anniversary date of its registration in the said register, that it is continuing in business.
By making the same declaration, the company confirms the information declared for registration or amendment, even if one or more amending declarations have been made during this period.

The official form is now available to make this declaration.
The form can be sent or filed in duplicate with the Trade and Industry Register Department, together with payment of the registration fee of €25 for a private limited company and €50 for a public limited company.

Please note that, in addition to confirming the continuity of the business, the following information must be declared using this form:
  • status of the company (active, in dissolution, ceasing trading, struck off, etc.)
  • registration number ;
  • legal form
  • its name
  • name of the bank where the company has an account
  • its corporate objects ;
  • the address of its registered office and secondary establishments
  • the amount of its share capital, the number of shares and their nominal value
  • the surname, forenames, date and place of birth, nationality(ies), home address, marital status (in the event of marriage, date and place of marriage and applicable law) of each shareholder and managing director/s (gerant/s)
  • identity of the designated person responsible for basic information and information on beneficial owners
