Go on vacation with confidence

20/07/2021
The summer vacation started on 7 July and probably you have already prepared everything for those 2 or 3 weeks off. Recharge, rest, be quiet and away from everyday worries - this is the watchword for many of us. But there is one thing we call your attention: the security of your home.
Summer rhymes with holidays, but it is also the time of the rise in burglaries. According to statistics presented by the ONDRP (the National Observatory on Delinquency and Criminal Responses) each summer the number of thefts increases by 20%. So, before leaving, you have the choice of having a private "family officer" (service offered by Rosemont International) who can take care of your villa while you are away or take some preventive measures yourself:
  • Store any object that can be used as a lever (gardening tools, ladders, outdoor furniture, etc.)
  • Close the shutters securely and hide valuables (eg a safe). 50% of stolen items are jewellery
  • Avoid sharing vacation photos while on vacation. You can wait until your return to brag about the places visited, right?
  • Even a basic home automation system can protect you because 50% of burglars ring before entering and thanks to the new systems you will be able to answer from your mobile phone.
